First Doctors Appointment-September 12, 2011

Today, we went to your first doctors visit. They wanted to see you the day after you left the hospital because they doctor on call this weekend when you were born thought you had a touch of jaundice.  We have chosen to use Grand Strand Pediatrics in Little River as your doctor.  When we got there, the doctor said you looked great.  You have lost down to 7 pounds 2 ounces, which she said was normal because my milk hasn't come in yet.  Once it does, she said you'll start gaining weight.  We asked her about you not having used the bathroom since yesterday and she said to wait another day or two that not having regular bowels the first few days was normal.  We also took a tinkle diaper for her to look at.  A few of them have had a reddish tent to them, which she confirmed was just vitamins you are getting through me that are passing through and not to worry.  You did great in your car seat on the way there and back home!  You slept the whole way!  You are our little princess!
